Summer Music Camps at Community Music School
Milestones Jazz Camp
One Week Session July 7-11 9 AM-5 PM
Milestones is a fun, interactive, summer day camp program which encourages enthusiastic young musicians to explore and expand their interests in jazz. Under the guidance of camp faculty, students discover the intricacies of jazz as they study, rehearse, and perform works from the standard jazz repertoire. Learning to perform jazz and applying the freedom of improvisation enhances any student’s music education. The camp is open to students from early intermediate to advanced ability levels. Each student participates in a combo group as well as the big band.
