CMS Summer and Fall Registration for Current Students

*This page is for students who were registered for all or part of CMS’s spring quarter (4/22/24-6/22/24). Students who are not registered for this quarter can request a summer or fall lesson time here.

CMS Summer and Fall Registration is now open! Current CMS Students can use the form below to request BOTH summer and fall lesson scheduling.

Summer Lesson Information and Pricing (fill out form below)

The Summer Lesson Schedule runs from July 1st through August 16^th. Students may enroll for as many or as few lessons as they like during this time period as the instructors’ schedules allow. All summer lessons are paid for at the time of scheduling and, once scheduled, cannot be moved, cancelled, rescheduled, made up, or refunded.

Lessons can be scheduled and paid for individually. Students who enroll in 6 lessons will receive a 5% discount on the cost of summer lessons. 6 lesson packages cannot be divided among multiple students.

Lessons are available in-person and/or virtually depending on faculty availability.

To schedule summer lessons, please fill out the form below. We will be in touch as soon as possible to schedule the lessons by phone or email. Registrations will be processed and scheduled in the order in which they are received.

Community Music School is proud to offer affordable and professional instruction to the community.  As a non-profit organization we pride ourselves on keeping our prices competitive Prices will NOT increase for the upcoming school year and will remain at the following rates!

Students who enroll in 6 lessons will receive a 5% discount on the cost of summer lessons. 6 lesson packages cannot be divided among multiple students

As of the 2024-2025 School Year. CMS will be billing out MONTHLY! Payments due the first of the month prior and 30 days notice required to drop lessons.  Details below!

Requests will be processed in the order received, based on the following schedule:

• Through June 9th: Current students, same time slot.
  • Current students may reserve their current time slot, if available.
• June 10-16th: Current students, new time slot.
  • Current Students will be contacted in the order that requests are received to schedule new lesson times.
• Starting June 17th: New and Returning Students will be contacted in the order of request received to schedule fall lesson times.

Benefits of Being a CMS Student Include:

• Student Recitals – CMS schedules an average of two recitals per month and students are encouraged to perform often. There is NO additional charge for performing on recitals and admission is free and open to the public.
• Rehearsals with a Professional Accompanist – Students are encouraged to schedule rehearsals with our staff accompanist whenever necessary prior to a performance. Rehearsals are included in student’s tuition.
• Free Tickets to select concerts and Master classes
• Access to the CMS Music Library – CMS has a music lending library available to students at no charge. Solo and ensemble music, method books, theory books and scores are some of the items available.
• Discounts on Multiple Lessons or Classes – the more music lessons or classes you study – the more you save!
• Community – CMS is set apart by the community that is created when attending lessons, classes and ensembles. The vibrant halls are filled with music from all different instruments, player levels and abilities.  All are welcome at our Community Music School!
