CMS proudly presents a FREE lunchtime concert series called “Bach’s Lunch”. Join us on the third Thursday of each month and enjoy a mini concert featuring a different CMS faculty artist each month. Pick up your box lunch at a local eatery or bring from home. Concerts begin at 12:10pm.

Join us for the opening reception of JoAnn Moy’s

Join us for the opening reception of JoAnn Moy’s gallery install “Happiness in Color”. Light refreshments served at 6PM followed by a student recital at 7PM!

Happiness in Color is a solo abstract art exhibition at the Community Music School in Trappe by local artist, JoAnn Moy of Spring City Mill Studios, in Spring City. The show is a culmination of work done over the past 2 years but many of the pieces have never been on display. JoAnn has found reverie in painting. “It is calming and meditative, and in that I find happiness”
In 2019, when she began focusing her career solely on fine art (her background is in graphic design) she was drawn to rendering vast landscapes with big colorful skies. With her loose style of painting JoAnn’s work gradually transitioned into abstract, but its foundation is still based in the abundance of beauty and color in our sky.
